Despite this, he was able to attend college and majored in Theater at Chung-Ang University. After graduating, he joined the military for his mandatory service which is required of all able-bodied South Korean men.
After being discharged from the military, Hyun Bin started his acting career in 2003. His first role was in the drama “Bodyguard” which was followed by a role in the popular drama “My Name is Kim Sam-soon”. It was his third drama, “Summer Sonata”, that would change his life forever. The drama was a huge success and propelled him to fame not just in South Korea but all over Asia. After “Summer Sonata”, he starred in various hit dramas such as “Secret Garden” and “Memories of the Alhambra”. He has also starred in several movies such as “The Swindlers” and “Confidential Assignment”.
Son Ye-jin Background
Son Ye-jin was born on January 11, 1982, in Daegu, South Korea. Her real name is Son Eon-jin but she later legally changed it to Son Ye-jin. When she was in high school, she moved to Australia with her mother to learn English. After graduating from high school, she studied at the Yarra Valley Grammar School in Melbourne and later majored in Film Arts at Chung-Ang University.
