She has performed at the famous Globe Theatre in William Shakespeare’s play Much Ado About Nothing, and April De Angelis’s updated version of a 17th-century Spanish classic called The Village. Transforming herself into a saucy seductress, the sorceress captivated both Geralt and audiences, making the Netflix show a huge success. Previous to this, Anya Chalotra was in the British drama Wanderlust. She was also in the shows The ABC Murders and Sherwood.
The actress refused to allow a body double to take over for the raunchy sex scenes in The Witcher, feeling that to portray the whole of the character was important, claiming that it was an integral part of the role.
