Scottish actress Rose Leslie grew up in the wilds of Aberdeenshire, and lived in her family’s ancestral home – 15th century Lickleyhead Castle.
She earned a degree from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and a British Academy for Stage and Screen certificate in stage combat – which she put to great use in one of her best known roles later in her career!
