Eve Aline Plumb is an American actress and painter, most recognized for her role as the middle daughter, Jan Brady in the sitcom, The Brady Bunch (1969), whom she portrayed until the series ended in 1974. She reprised Jan in its several spin-offs, sequels, and reality series including The Brady Girls Get Married (1981), The Brady Brides (1981), A Very Brady Christmas (1988), and The Bradys (1990).
Eve started her acting career at a very young age. She was obviously destined to go into entertainment — being born across the street from Disney Studios and getting baptized in a movie theater that doubled as a church on Sundays. At the age of 7, she began acting in TV commercials.
She appeared in numerous television series including The Big Valley (1966-1967), The Virginian (1967), Lassie (1967), Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway (1976), Little Women (1978), and The Love Boat (1978-1982). She also starred in several films such as I’m Gonna Git You Sucka (1988), Manfast (2003), and Monsoon (2018).
Eve is not only an acclaimed actress but also a great painter. She has been painting for more than two decades and has successfully hosted exhibitions at select galleries across the United States. Eve works mainly in watercolors and acrylics but loves to experiment with color and textures in her work. Taking her inspiration from her many trips abroad, her eye for art is admired around the globe.
