Melanie Lynskey is an actress and voice actress who made her career debut when she was 17 years old in the film Heavenly Creatures.
During a two-year gap, she attended Victoria University of Wellington and auditioned for a part in The Crucible. She then got a leading role in the successful independent drama Foreign Correspondents which was filmed in Los Angeles.
