There are just people who have the looks and talent to make it big as if they are always the right fit for particular roles. This fact is true in the career and success of Sela Ward. She got her first big-screen roles in the early 80s as she was cast in the films The Man Who Loved Women alongside Burt Reynolds and Nothing in Common with Tom Hanks. Although people were expecting more appearances from Sela Ward as Dana Mosier in the TV show FBI, she was in the show for only a season. The reason for her leaving the TV show was that she basically sought to fulfill the one-year contract she had with the show. She was initially attracted to be in the show since it was filmed in New York and she liked the prospect of being in the Big Apple, working with a former colleague who was behind the scenes in the production of the show. After fulfilling her commitment, she wanted to rest and have more time for her family as she has always done so throughout her career.
