At the young age of two, Soleil Moon Frye began acting and at seven years old, she starred in the TV series Punky Brewster. She played the role Penelope “Punky” Brewster and was recognized for her talent, although the show itself was canceled, and much loved by kids.
After her breakthrough appearance, Soleil gained guest appearances in TV shows as well as supporting roles for films. In 1998, Soleil directed her first film Wild Horses. After two years, the actress and film director became one of the casts of the film Sabrina The Teenage Witch and played the role of Roxie King, the close friend and roommate of Sabrina in the film. Soleil also directed the film Wild Horses which aired in 1998. Her second film was Sonny Boy (2004).
