Park Seo-joon was born in 1988 in South Korea. He graduated from Daejeon High School and studied business administration at Hansung University. In the romantic comedy-drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim from 2018, Park played a narcissistic vice-chairman who falls in love with his secretary, portrayed by Park Min-young. Park’s performance in the popular series earned him praise from reviewers, earning him the moniker “master of the romantic comedy” in the Korean media.
As a martial arts champion with divine abilities, Park starred in the action-horror movie The Divine Fury in 2019. Park participated in the Asiana International Short Film Festival as a special juror. He made a cameo appearance in the Award-winning Academy film Parasite (2019).
Park starred in the 2020 JTBC drama Itaewon Class, adapted from the same-named webtoon. He portrayed a bar-restaurant owner who successfully turned his establishment into a franchise. The drama was well-received, and Park was nominated for Best Actor – Television at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. It was hailed for its compelling plot progression and vibrant performances.
He will play Yoon Hong-Dae, a former soccer player turned coach, in Lee Byeong-sports heon’s drama Dream and Um Tae-disaster hwa’s thriller Concrete Utopia. He will also appear in the MCU movie The Marvels (2023) in an unspecified role.
